Dragon Scale Dice - Metal Dice Sets for Tabletop RPG Gaming

Dragon inspired polyhedral metal dice for your rpg campaigns. Each of the 7 dice in the set sports a unique pattern, resembling an ancient dragon's scales. The product of years of planning and months of design, we are excited to finally share these dice with you! Each metal die is electroplated with a shining metallic coat, and inset with a colorful enamel.

What a wonderful campaign this has been! 

Thank you all for your support and kind words, you have been really wonderful backers and we appreciate you helping us fund this project, sharing the campaign with friends, and unlocking several stretch goals along the way! Speaking of, the most exciting news: 

The White Dragon set unlocked right at the end! 

This set will now be available for you to select when we send out the rewards survey! 

Rewards Survey and Manufacturing

Now it's our turn to get to work delivering your pledges. Some quick details and reminders: Kickstarter will send us the funds for the campaign in about 2 weeks: as soon as that happens we will send out the rewards survey that will allow you to choose your dice sets, and select any add-ons you may want. We will keep the survey open for 20 days, after which we will lock the pledges, and start manufacturing your dice! We expect to have all pledges shipped by the end of June.

Final Hours!

We are in the home stretch of the campaign with just over two days to go. As we make this final push we want to say thank you again to everyone who has supported the project so far. With the next stretch goal for the White Dragon set so close we are hopeful we can make the final push and unlock that 5th set! Keep sharing the project and show your friends that beautiful white dragon set (below)!

What's Next?

Our campaign will end Thu, February 13 2020 9:00 AM EST; so please make sure your credit card details are up-to-date on Kickstarter so your pledge moves smoothly into our system. Following that, Kickstarter takes about 2 weeks to process your pledges. Once that is complete we'll begin sending our surveys via BackerKit. Within BackerKit you will be able to select you what sets you want, add add-ons, and provide your address for shipping. You will also have the chance to upgrade your pledge if you decide you need more dice. The Backerkit survey will remain open for a couple weeks: during this time you can adjust your details and make edits to your pledge. After we have received surveys from most backers, we will lock addresses and begin manufacturing your new dice!

Red Dragon Set Unlocked!

Hooray! This weekend we reached the 15,000 stretch goal, adding the the ferocious and prideful Red Dragon to our lineup.

 We now have 4 dice sets unlocked:

  • Blue Dragon
  • Gold Dragon
  • Faerie Dragon (Glow in the Dark)
  • Red Dragon

Each of these will be an available options once the campaign ends. 

Next Goal

We really appreciate all the engagement from our backers; it's exciting seeing these new colors become a reality. We are moving into our final stretch now with 9 days to go. Next on the unlock list is the White Dragon.

New Glow in the Dark Faerie Dragon Set Unlocked!

New Dice Set Unlocked

Thank you all for sharing the kickstarter! We are excited to report that the social goal was reached (and passed!) so the faerie dragon set has been unlocked. You will now be able to choose these glow in the dark dice for any pledge receiving a set once the campaign finishes. 

New Pledge Level Updates

Following several request we have also updated our pledge levels to add a retail pledge level. 

The Retail Pledge Level is available to any shops looking to stock DragonScale Dice on their shelves. Backers at this level receive 20 sets, chosen from unlocked items, and are eligible for special wholesale discounts following the campaign. This level will require the backer provide proof of registered business operation (an FEI number and sales tax location).

What's Next

We are soooo close to unlocking the Red Dragon set, so please keep telling friends and RPG enthusiasts about the campaign! We will also be adding the option to add additional dice sets in pledge manager after the Kickstarter ends, in case you decide at the last minute you need another set!

Hi backers!

We are thrilled with how the campaign is progressing so far, and so thankful for your pledges!

We have two surprises for you all today: the Faerie Dragon set, and the first add-ons are live!

 Faerie Dragon Dice 

This is our first Social Goal for the campaign: this special glow-in-the-dark set will be unlocked for all backers once the project gets shared 50 times on social media. If you want to help unlock this set, share or repost one of our posts from below, or create your own post about the campaign on your favorite social site.

Once we reach 50 shares, you will be able to select the dragon faerie set as one of the rewards for the campaign.
